About Me

Michael Anthony Shapiro is a Long Island–based actor, singer, and dancer with a passion for live performance and storytelling. He trained in Musical Theatre Performance at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, where he developed his skills in acting, voice, and movement

Michael’s journey in the performing arts began with dance at the age of 11. What started as an introduction to movement quickly grew into a deep love for the stage and ultimately led him to pursue musical theatre.

Outside of performing, Michael enjoys staying connected to the arts and entertainment world in a variety of ways. A lifelong fan of film, theatre, and music, he’s always on the lookout for a great movie, a classic Broadway cast recording, or a new production to see. Growing up on Long Island, he developed a strong connection to the local theatre community and continues to work and collaborate with artists throughout the region.

When he’s not on stage, Michael enjoys spending time with friends and family, discovering new restaurants, and relaxing with a good movie night. He believes that the experiences and relationships built offstage are just as important as the work onstage, and they continue to inspire the stories he helps bring to life as a performer.
